This little sweet treat is perfect with a cup of tea or coffee, light bite dessert or when you’ve got friends round.
Soooo easy, and your friends will think you’re some sort of chocolatier extraordinaire!
Ingredients (makes 10-11 bites):
1 cup of nuts (I used a mix of walnuts and cashews)
1/2 cup of pitted dates (soaked in warm water for an hour)
2 tbsp raw organic cacao
1 tbsp shredded/dessicated coconut
1 tbsp nut butter (I used a mixed one but almond or macadamia would work too)
1 tbsp honey
1 tspn vanilla essence
1/4 tspn salt
Throw it all in the blender together and blend. That’s it. Other than perhaps giving it a stir mid-way.
Then you can roll them in to balls with your hands, and your bites are ready! And you can lick off whatever is left on your hands. Best bit!
I like them better when they’ve been in the fridge for a while. Your only problem now will holding yourself back from eating them all at once 🙂
